Vision & Values
An open club, well kept.
Four principles that have steered every committee since 1987.
- 01
Welcoming
We will always make space for new members and visitors. Beginners and lapsed players especially welcome.
- 02
Member-run
We’re a not-for-profit, run by an elected committee with full member voting at the AGM.
- 03
Affordable
We hold our pricing low and fund junior bursaries from our patron membership.
- 04
Inclusive
Disability tennis on Tuesday mornings, women-only doubles on Sundays, LGBTQ+ social leagues.
Committee
Elected each year at the AGM.
Volunteer roles, all unpaid, mostly thankless. We are deeply grateful to them.

Safeguarding
Everyone safe. Everyone welcome.
Greenwich Heath is committed to providing a safe, fair and inclusive environment for every member, visitor and child. We are an LTA Registered Venue and follow LTA Safeguarding Standards. All coaches are DBS-checked, attend annual safeguarding training, and complete first aid certification every three years.
Our Welfare Officer, Tom Ardrey, is the first point of contact for any concern. Tom can be reached privately at welfare@greenwichheathtennis.club or via the office on +44 (0)208 856 3456.
Safeguarding Policy
Reviewed annually by the committee. Available in the members’ portal.
Diversity & Inclusion
We follow the LTA D&I Standard, with an annual member survey informing the action plan.
