Three surfaces, properly tended. Grass plays May to September; clay and hard all year, floodlit to ten.

The Frognal Court
The original 1881 court, replanted in 2009 with modern drainage. The shadiest seat in the pavilion looks over it.

South-facing and gently sloped — the favourite for a Sunday afternoon mixed doubles. Strawberry beds at the southern end.

The Algernon Court
Old-style red clay, named for our longest-serving president. Slow, considered tennis at its finest.

Sheltered by the eastern hedge. Cooler in summer, drier in winter, and bookable until ten on weeknights.

Resurfaced in 2024. Quick under foot, true bounce, and the only court the juniors are allowed to scuff.

The clubhouse
The 1947 pavilion, refitted in 2024. A small library, a kitchen garden tended by the Adekoyas since 1953, and a bar with a respectable claret list and a properly Vetted G&T.
